Typical Expenses When Going to An Astrology Conference

These are conservative estimates and still we can see,.. it adds up quickly.

Can You Say "BURNOUT?"

Besides price, the other issue with Astrology conferences is the way in which the brain takes in information. Trying to intensely focus on one new concept after the next - four or five classes a day for three or four days leads to very little of the information being retained.

Scribbling notes in a class and looking over handouts helps -- but you really need to have a recording of the class to mull over and ponder.. So, of course you can PURCHASE  recordings of the classes you liked - after all the money you have spent though, you probably will not. 

Another issue is having to pick and choose which classes you want to attend. Again, you tell yourself that you will buy the recordings later, which usually does not happen because you are already spending a lot of money. 

Another issue is the lack of ability to have meaningful follow up with the teacher about questions you may have. Although the teacher gives his email, you are reluctant to contact him or her and interact with them. 

Of course, there are some advantages to the in person conferences.
